Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

Lotforce (“Lotforce,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) recognizes the importance of privacy and the protection of information handled through our websites, applications, browser extensions, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Lotforce collects, how we use it, how it may be stored or shared, and the choices available to users.

This policy applies to Lotforce websites, the Lotforce platform, Lotforce Pilot and the Lotforce Pilot Chrome Extension, and related Lotforce services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Lotforce, we may collect or process the following categories of information.

Account and Authentication Information

We may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Dealership or organization information
  • User and dealership identifiers
  • Login credentials submitted for authentication
  • Authentication tokens and session information

Passwords submitted through Lotforce Pilot are transmitted to Lotforce for authentication. Lotforce Pilot does not intentionally store the user's password in Chrome extension storage after authentication.

If a user selects an option to remember their email address, the email address may be stored locally by the Chrome extension.

Vehicle and Inventory Information

Lotforce processes vehicle and dealership inventory information necessary to provide its services, including information such as:

  • Vehicle make, model, year and trim
  • VIN and stock number
  • Vehicle descriptions
  • Pricing
  • Mileage
  • Vehicle features and specifications
  • Vehicle images and image locations
  • Listing status and related inventory information

Facebook Marketplace Information

When an authorized user uses Lotforce Pilot with Facebook Marketplace, the extension may access information necessary to create, maintain and track Marketplace listings.

This may include:

  • Facebook Marketplace page information
  • Vehicle listing information
  • Listing URLs
  • Marketplace listing identifiers
  • Listing status
  • Posting, renewal, update and deletion status
  • Information displayed by Facebook concerning the success or failure of a listing action
  • Marketplace engagement information associated with vehicle listings

Lotforce uses this information to provide inventory posting, maintenance, reporting and related Lotforce functionality.

Marketplace Messenger Information

Lotforce Pilot may access the Marketplace section of Facebook Messenger to identify engagement associated with vehicle listings.

The extension may temporarily process information displayed in the Marketplace conversation list, such as buyer or conversation identifiers, vehicle information, stock numbers, conversation timing and unread status, where available.

Lotforce Pilot uses this information to associate Marketplace engagement with dealership inventory and generate engagement statistics.

The current version of Lotforce Pilot does not intentionally transmit the content or body of individual Messenger conversations to Lotforce. Engagement information transmitted to Lotforce may include aggregated message or conversation counts associated with vehicle stock numbers.

Lotforce Pilot may process information required to operate the extension, including:

  • URLs of relevant browser tabs
  • Relevant Facebook Marketplace page content
  • Extension configuration and application state
  • Authentication state

  • Error and debugging information
  • Information necessary to determine whether requested Lotforce functionality has completed successfully

Lotforce Pilot does not access browser information for unrelated browsing surveillance or advertising purposes.

2. Chrome Extension Permissions

Lotforce Pilot uses Chrome browser permissions to provide its functionality.

Depending on the version of the extension, these permissions may allow Lotforce Pilot to:

  • Access supported Facebook Marketplace pages
  • Access Lotforce administrative services

  • Open, update and interact with browser tabs

These permissions are used to provide Lotforce functionality and are not used to monitor unrelated browsing activity.

3. Native Messaging

Lotforce Pilot uses Chrome's Native Messaging functionality to communicate with authorized Lotforce software installed on the user's computer.

Native Messaging may be used to perform functions that cannot be performed reliably by the Chrome extension alone, including:

  • Interacting with supported user-interface elements
  • Entering information into supported forms
  • Selecting and attaching vehicle images from authorized local locations
  • Coordinating actions between Lotforce Pilot and the locally installed Lotforce software

Information transmitted through Native Messaging is limited to information required to perform the requested Lotforce functionality.
